Why We Choose to Wear Uniform

Our school uniform policy is designed to foster modesty, equality, and teach students about appropriate dress for various settings. Adherence to the uniform policy is mandatory for all students when attending school, school outings, and other required school-related activities. Uniform requirements are specific to each phase. We strictly enforce the uniform guidelines, recognizing their importance in maintaining discipline. As Maria Montessori wisely stated, "A child who wants to shine needs to focus on shining from their mind, not from what he or she puts on their body.”

The school uniform policy is built upon the following key benefits:

  • Promotes School Identity: Cultivates a strong sense of pride in the school, fostering community and belonging.
  • Practicality and Appearance: Ensures a practical, smart, and consistent standard of dress.
  • Identification: Allows for the easy identification of children as members of the school community.
  • Reduces Distractions: Minimizes visual distractions within the classroom environment.

Fosters Equality: Helps create a level playing field among peers by reducing focus on socioeconomic differences related to clothing.

Who Is Required to Wear Uniform

All children must wear a uniform. The only exceptions are Grade RR and R students, who must follow the uniform guidelines. Uniform guidelines for other grades should be followed.
